Sala Plateliai Resort

We visited from Australia. What an underrated place! We were thrilled with it. Cant believe it was not booked out peak season. Small and exclusive unlike those other larger resorts where you have to fight for a lounge by the water or pool. Beautiful landscaped grounds, row boat, paddle boats, kayaks. We rowed out to the middle of the lake at sun set listing to the surrounding wildlife, amazing. Spa and sauna areas were perfect looking out to the tree lined grounds. Restaurant was very nice with the chef sharing a few of his recipes with us! Staff were all fantastic. The only negative was no kettle to make a cup of tea with but i am not reducing my 5 stars for that minor issue. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The place was very average for the price. The room we received was extremely small, more like a single room rather than a twin. The restaurant was really disappointing - overpriced and food wasn’t fresh. We tried to complain but nobody reacted to our feedback. There was no real atmosphere in the restaurant and interior and furnishings looked little dated. The spa experience wasn’t excellent for the price paid. We tried the couples massage and it seemed it was little disorganised and not thought through bare in mind it was €180. The staff were pleasant which wasn’t enough. We have stayed at cheaper and nicer hotels with more authentic food, every detail being spot on. I’m really sorry €400 for 2 star hotel with a massage is simply too much

I liked the place, but visited during low peak season. Staff was accommodating, food good and there are plenty activities available. Giving 4 stars as rooms need some refurbishment and our A/C wasn’t working. Not too sure if I would recommend this place for families.

Exceptional relaxation oasis and spa! Stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful rooms, interesting activities such as tennis, mini golf, water bicycles and boats. What an experience to go to the majestic plateliai lake ! It has private beach and bridges. Harmonizing massage house with a unforgettable view to the water , relaxing atmosphere and sweetest and professional massager- she was amazing! Restaurant was brilliant- cozy atmosphere, amazing service and exceptional food! Loved to hear about local products used for the food and absolutely enjoyed deer carpaccio, octopus salad, smoked duck, smoked salmon and best Egg Benedict for breakfast! Compliments for the kitchen! We had a blast! We highly recommend for couples to enjoy this love oasis 🙏🏻🌲🌊🌳❤️🧖🏻‍♀️🧖🏻❤️🌳🌊🍷🍽🥗

The place is nice and you can really see the investment made to build it. However, the quality of service is still far from what is expected from the luxury type of resorts that they pretend to be. First, although a smile is a rare facial expression of the locals, but you have to at least fake it, as in the US. Second, do not lie to your customers. When we called they told that the restaurant was full, but when we stopped by (just to check out the place for the future), it was totally empty.
